Don’t call it a “Housing Recession,” Call it an “Opportunity”
So mortgage rates are at historical lows, prices have nothing but downward pressure due to high inventories and languishing home sales and foreclosures are at all-time highs due to lenders making millions of wacky loans in the sub-prime market. Is anyone listening to the analysts that claim that now is not the time to buy?
Real estate is not the stock market. People need and want homes to live in during all market conditions, any time, everywhere, all across the planet. So, if not under these perfect buying conditions, when is the right time to buy? Put another way, what investor wouldn’t buy something that historically never loses value, will always be in demand, is inexpensive to finance and can always be sold, rented, leased, optioned or traded?
If now isn’t the time to buy, when is?
What do you think?
