Bamboo Flooring
In our latest major project we’ve put bamboo floors in all the bedrooms. We were so impressed with how it turned out we’ve decided to put it into the living room and in the main walk through the house.
We made the decision to put bamboo floors in for 3 reasons:
- Inexpensive in comparision to other hardwood floors
(We purchased Morning Star’s 5/8″ x 3 3/4″ pre-finished natural bamboo flooring at Lumber Liquidators for $2.59/sq ft. and our installer put it in for $1.25/sq ft. = $3.84/sq ft. - not bad!)
- Environmentally friendly
- Bamboo takes 3 to 5 years to reach full maturity, it is renewable and is very durable and strong
- IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE!
